Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Tarver Boles, 90, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Bro. Randy Burdeaux, and her grandson, John Gist, officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens, West Monroe, Louisiana.'Mawmaw Boles' was born in Baskin, Louisiana on April 3, 1925 and passed away May 8, 2015 lovingly surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her 'Creator,' her family and her garden. While in good health, she loved to fish and spent many hours on Cheniere Lake. She was also a wonderful 'story-teller,' accomplished 'dumpling-maker,' and master John Deere driver. Holidays were tradition at Mawmaws house, and her family will miss her energy, her honesty and her kind heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allan and Hattie Tarver, her husband of 45 years, Claude L. Boles, her granddaughter, Angel Gist, her great-grandson, Samuel Foust, her son-in-law, Wayne Hendrix, and 12 siblings. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Ruth and Tommy Gist, Bobby and Bo Boles and Janet Hendrix, all of West Monroe. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Russ Boles and Mike Boles, her great-grandsons, Robert Scott Foust, Tristen Boles and Brandon Boles, and her nephew, Willie Hughes.A special thanks to Stephanie VanGilder with Southern Care Hospice for her care of our beloved Mawmaw.Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com
