MRS LINNIE LEE FRITH JONES MULHEARN FUNERAL HOME WEST MONROE, LA Funeral services for Linnie Lee Frith Jones, 86, will be Tuesday, June 26th, at 11:00 A.M. with visitation from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral service in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, with the Reverends Bob Holloway, Ken Renfroe, and Dwight Ramsey, officiating. Burial will follow in the Rutledge Cemetery. Mrs. Jones was born in West Monroe, Louisiana on September 20, 1920, and died June 24, 2007, at her residence. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening, especially flowers. She welcomed those who stopped by and shared her flowers and the food on the kitchen table with all. Mrs. Jones was a charter member of Watson Chapel Church in West Monroe, the Cadeville Eastern Star, and the Ouachita Parish Home Demonstration Club. She worked at Monroe Blue Printing Company, a poll worker, a substitute teacher and took census. She was preceded in death by husband of 68 years, Thomas Rutledge “Tom R.“ Jones, ; her parents, Foster and Octavia Frith, her sisters Lena Cole, Grethel Kay, Clavis Mathis and brother Cecil Frith. Mrs. Jones is survived by five children: Thomas A. “Tommy” Jones and wife Mary; Jerry M. Jones and wife Marie; Gay Linda Ramsey and husband Dwight; P. Susan Jones and special friend, Eugene Mann; Peggy Jones and special friend Charles Brasher; grandchildren: Thomas T. Jones, Patty Jones Gryder, Elizabeth Jones Foster, Todd Jones, Dawn Jones Eldridge, Mike Jones, Terry Jones Booth, Keith Jones, Jennifer Ramsey, Kim Ramsey Norris, David D. Ramsey, Judy Harper-Vallez, and Kristie Harper; 20 great- grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Thanks to a special niece, Sandy Merrill; friend, Ethel Craft; Peoples’ Choice Hospice nurses Suzanne Hatton and Edna Lloyd; Sitters Linda Henderson and Cathy McMillian; Doctors Don Hammett and Thomas Gulick. Visitation will be Monday, June 25th, 5:00- 7:00 p.m., at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
