William “Andy” EdwardsFuneral service for Mr. William “Andy” Edwards, 60, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 10:00AM Tuesday, March 8, 2016, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Warren Eckhardt and Rev. Johnny Funderburg officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Edwards passed away on March 6, 2016, in Monroe. He was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. Mr. Edwards was the owner and operator of Edwards Transmission Service in Monroe. He was an avid drag racer and never met a stranger. Mr. Edwards loved everyone and was a friend to all. His grandchildren were his world. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Ray Edwards. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Karen Scarbrock Edwards; two daughters, Michelle King and husband Keith; and Kristen Edwards; grandchildren, Anna Marie Edwards, Zachary Ray Edwards, William Angelo King, Mia Gabrielle King and Madison Rae King; mother, Bonnie Edwards Knotts; two brothers, Joey Edwards, Sr. and wife Melanie; and Tim Edwards and wife Kim; father-in-law, Don Scarbrock and wife Barbara; sisters-in-law, Delores Oliver and Anita Scarbrock; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be William King, Zachary Edwards, Joey Edwards, Jr., Jeff Edwards, Eric Edwards, and Keith King. Honorary pallbearers will be the friends and employees of Edwards Transmission Service. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Monday, March 7, 2016, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
