Memorial service for Mr. Daniel Dennett, Jr., 77, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Monroe with Rev. Will Sheffield and Rev. Larry Stafford officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
Mr. Dennett, a retired biologist with the State of Louisiana, passed away on January 31, 2009, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army and a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Parker Dennett; daughter, Ginna Dennett Holyoak and her husband John of Natchez, MS; son James Allen Dennett and wife Suellen of Texas; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of your choice.
