Graveside services for Mrs. Monalisa M. Semmes, 69, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, August 21, 2020, in St. Paschal Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Frank Coens officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Semmes died August 19, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe and was a retired bookkeeper with Southeast Foods. She loved flowers and being in the garden.
Survivors: Husband, Robert Keith Semmes; Daughter, Stacy Lynn Semmes Amos and her granddaughters, Lauren and Abby; Son, Robert Keith Semmes, IV and wife, Cathy; Granddaughters, Emma and Elly; Sisters, Latrelle Spears (Harold) and Karen Martin (Carrie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Semmes’ nephews, Kyle Semmes, Caleb Semmes, Johnny Semmes, Jeff Semmes, Chris Adams, Harold Speers, and Caleb Speers.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Glenwood ICU, Compassus Hospice, and especially Karen Martin and Shannon Guidry for the special care they gave to our mother.
