Mittie Lacey Sheppert Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Mrs. Mittie Lacey Sheppert was born November 20, 1927 and died August 25, 2007. Mrs. Sheppert was born in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis F. Sheppert; her parents, Walter and Ida Lacey; sisters, Lenee Lacey, Blanche Lacey Black; brother, John W. Lacey. Mrs. Sheppert was a member of Faith Sunday School Class at Fair Park Baptist Church. She is survived by one son David and his wife Sue from West Monroe and one daughter, Donna Sheppert from Lafayette, LA; one brother Walter Lacey of West Monroe; one sister, Nellie Teekel of Baton Rouge; four nieces Janell Teekel, Baton Rouge, LA, Margaret Gunter of Cullman, Ala. and Deborah Donohoe of Milwaukee and Susan Arceneaux of Lafayette; five nephews, Alton Lacey of St. Louis, Mo., Todd Lacey of Dallas, Texas, Scott Lacey of Georgia, Bill Sheppert of Lafayette, LA, and Craig Sheppert of Shreveport, LA; very best and dearest friends Mattie Wallis and Edith Head of West Monroe. Pallbearers will be Tom Norris, Aubrey McGraw, Alton Lacey, Todd Lacey, Bill Sheppert and Craig Sheppert. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Fair Park Baptist Church with Rev. Waymon Warren officiating and Darris Warren singing “How Great Thou Art”. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
