Mitchell Coleman Grubbs, Jr.

Funeral Services for Mr. Mitchell Coleman Grubbs, Jr, 70, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 6, 2017 at McClendon Baptist Church, West Monroe, LA with Bro. Kevin Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery West Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mr. Grubbs was born on August 16, 1947 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on November 3, 2017. He was a long time member of McClendon Baptist Church. Mr. Grubbs is a United States Army Veteran where he was military police and served in Korea. He retired from State Farm Insurance Company after 34 years of service. Mr. Grubbs liked cars especially corvettes. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Johnnye Grubbs; two sons, Mitchell Grubbs III and wife, Christina, Chad Grubbs and wife, Angela; two sisters, Sue Tillman and husband, Charles, Frankie Bragg and husband, Gil; three grandchildren, Mollye Grubbs, Claire Grubbs and Ryker Grubbs; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Myers, Stanley Myers, Steven Tillman, Jacob Myers, Will Budemer and Johnathan Bicker.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
