Memorial Services for Mrs. Minnie Faye Parrott, 91 of Fort Necessity will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 14, 2016 at Fort Necessity Baptist Church with Rev. Benton Moore and Lanny Head officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.Mrs. Faye was born December 28, 1924, and went home to be with her Lord and with the love of her life on March 7, 2016.Mrs. Faye loved cooking, working in her yard and growing flowers. She was well known for her cooking at Ford’s Food Center in Wisner and worked until she was 84 years old as a cook at Mary Anna Nursing Home, also in Wisner. She was an avid country music fan and her favorite artist was George Strait. She was a member of Fort Necessity Baptist Church. She was loved by everyone who knew her.She is preceded in death by her parents: William and Claudia Gore, her husband L. F. Parrott, and great grandchild Sierra McKee. Survivors include 3 daughters: Judy McKee of Fort Necessity, LA, Marilyn Wilson and husband Gene of Chase, LA, and Debbie Christian and husband James of Bernice, LA. 7 Grandchildren: Chad McKee and fiance’Barbara Flanagan of Fort Necessity, Chuck McKee of Fort Necessity, Emily Stansbury and husband Bill of Rayville, LA, Misty Wilson and husband Jay of Crowville, LA, Michael Wilson and wife April of Wisner, LA, Cody Wilson and fiance’ Kristin Roberts of Chase, LA and Julie Christian of Bernice, LA, Sisters-In-Law: Louise Parrott of Winnsboro, LA and Leah Parrott of Nevada, and Nephew Billy Ray Taylor of Winnsboro, 10 Great Grandchildren: Todd and Logan McKee, Taylor Wilson, Jessica Lord and husband Justin, Will and Nate Stansbury, Jake Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Gabe Mckee, and Baylor Wilson. One Great Great Grandchild: Charlee Faye Lord. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. till time of service on Monday March 14th at Fort Necessity Baptist Church.
