Millicent L. "Mickey" Kiper

Graveside services for Mrs. Millicent L. Kiper, 91, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 30, 2019, at New Winnsboro Cemetery in Winnsboro, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Kiper died December 26, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Kiper received her B.S. Degree in Education from Louisiana State University, where she met her husband. She was a dedicated schoolteacher. Millicent loved the outdoors being in her garden growing a variety of flowers. She was a member of the Cultura Book Club and a charter member of the Highland Garden Club. She was a wonderful wife to her husband, James and loving mother to her son, Glynn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glynn H. and Clistie Ledbetter; and her husband, James P. Kiper.

Survivors include her son, Glynn P. Kiper and his wife Mendy; and granddaughter, Melissa Kiper.

The family would like to give special thanks to the caring ladies that took care of Mrs. Kiper; Sammie Beach, Delores Rabb, Debbie Malone, Kathy Hanson, Kathy Peet, Jessica Hodnett, Kaylee Zerwerk.
