Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred Sisson, 76, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Calhoun Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dan McClure and Rev. Eddie Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Sisson was born January 7, 1933 in Calhoun, LA and passed away on July 23, 2009 in West Monroe, LA. She was a board member and deaconess at Calhoun Assembly of God Church. She was an avid pokeno player for twenty years. She was an office assistant at Sisson Tile and V.J. Stop and Save. She loved her family, but most of all she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Sisson; father, Lloyd Frost; mother, Azlea Woolie Frost Prince; step father, Alonzo Wallace Prince; sister, Shirley Prince Brantley; and grandson, Jeremy Matthew Schwartz.
She is survived by her children, Richard Glenn Sisson, Sr. and wife Becky, Brealon Sisson and wife Lucy, Pamela Sisson Johnson, and David Sisson and wife B.J.; grandchildren, Azlea Vanessa Sisson, Richard Glenn Sisson, Jr., Christopher Sisson, Brittany Sisson, Jennifer Usrey, Mark Marionneaux, Michael Schwartz, Daniel Sisson, Ryan Sisson, Ashlee Sisson, and Jonathan Sisson; four great grandchildren; brother, Edward “Red” Frost; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Sisson, Chris Sisson, Michael Schwartz, Richard Sisson, Jr., Ryan Sisson, Jonathan Sisson, and Lee Schwartz.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
