Mildred Mock Cantrell

Funeral services for Mildred Lanie Mock Cantrell, 94, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 25, 2013, in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum chapel with Rev. Paul Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mrs. Cantrell passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Christus St. Joseph’s Assisted Living. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe, the Louisiana Teachers Association, and the Louisiana Square Dancers.
Mrs. Cantrell was preceded in death by husband, S. P. Cantrell; daughter, Mary Corbin; and grandson Doyle Lively.

Survivors include her daughters, Jo Ellen Birmingham of Monroe, LA, Sheila Holmes and husband Benny of Columbia, LA, and Sharon Elias and husband Charles of Sterlington, LA; 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Elias, Brad Elias, David Bingham, Danny Lively, Blaine Powell, and Britt Powell.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
