Funeral services for Mildred Johnston, 90 of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 11, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Dr. Alan Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.Mrs. Johnston died Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at her residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe and the Pilot Club of the Twin Cities.Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Harvard and Lois Inez Osborne; her husband, Robert Monard Johnston; and her brother, Charles H. Osborne, Jr.Survivors include her sons, William Johnston and wife, Kim, Paul Davis Johnston and wife Cathy; granddaughters, Carrie Lynn Johnston and Rebecca Christine Johnston; nieces and nephews, Mickey Charles Osborne, Pat Oglesbee, Peggy Purcell, Margaret Tooke, Andrea Ragas, John David Green.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.The family wishes to extend their thanks to hospice worker, Amie Robinson and her 4 caregivers, Ana Prudencio, DeAnna Burgos, Tina Motley and Eulater Gibson.Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
