Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred Hart Coleman, 96, of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Pentecostals of the Twin Cities in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Mark Foster officiating. Entombment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mrs. Coleman was born May 16, 1920, and passed away February 6, 2017. She was a lifelong member of the Pentecostals of the Twin Cities and the Twin City Senior Bass Club. Mrs. Coleman, known as “Big Grandma” or “Grandma Coleman”, loved her family and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard P. Coleman; brothers, Willie Hart, Dempsey Hart, John Hart and Howard Hart; and sisters, Lena Summerall, Carol Robinson and Janette Gary.

Survivors include her sons, Jack Coleman and Tommy Coleman; sister, Betty Hart Johnson; grandchildren, LaDonna Coleman, Clint Coleman, Scott Coleman, Ryan Coleman and Rayne Coleman; great grandchildren, Dillon Coleman, Destinee Mae Coleman, Clint Coleman, Matthew Coleman, Heather Coleman Haring and Ryan Coleman, II; great-great grandchildren, Logan Campbell Coleman and Josie Claire Haring; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Coleman’s grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
