Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred Baker, 76, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday May 30, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Terry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Riverview Cemetery Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mrs. Baker was born December 22, 1933 and passed away May 27, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Clarice Dupree and her husband, Richard Lee Baker, and her brother, Fred Dupree.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie Cooper and her husband, Larry; Donna Baker, Nita Chappell and her fiancé, Bennie Smith; and her brother, Bob Dupree; and sister, Juanita Cooper; her grandchildren, Johnny Cobb and his wife, Kourtney, Jody Cobb, Samantha Cobb, Donnie Chappell and his wife, Jessica, Mindy Monroe and her husband, Jeremy, Chelsea Chappell, and Richard Baker; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons; Johnny Cobb, Jody Cobb, Donnie Chappell, Richard Baker, Kyle Phillips, and Danny Phillips.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Louisiana Hospice, her nurse Mary Wiggins, her aide Tomika, Dr. Maran and Robin, and Dr. Sanson.
Memorials may be made to the Generations Building Fund at Family Church.
