A Celebration of Life service for Mildred Annice “Midge” Smith, 76, of Monroe formerly of Delhi, LA, will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2009, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Interment will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 3, 2009, at Delhi Masonic Cemetery.

Ms. Smith passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009. She was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and LSU, and a member of First Baptist Church of West Monroe.

Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Solon Edgar and Nina Lee Gilliland Smith.

Survivors include her brother, Solon Edgar Smith, Jr. of Knoxville, TN; and sister, Beverly Smith Dougall of London, UK.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 PM until service time at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
