Michael Troy Reeves

Funeral services for Michael Troy Reeves, 51, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 2, 2013, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Gary Traylor and Rev. Jimmy Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Reeves died Thursday, November 28, 2013, at St. Francis North Hospital. He was a 1984 ULM graduate with a BS degree in Business. Mr. Reeves was the owner of The Chevron U-Pak-It Store in Bastrop and was the former owner of the Deli-Mart in Oak Grove. He loved traveling, especially to the Academy of Country Music Awards, watching his beloved Arkansas Razorbacks, and working out at the gym, but his favorite past time in the world was walking his golden retriever, Rusty.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Aultman Reeves; daughters, Courtney Reeves and Brittany Reeves; parents, Richard and Recy Reeves; brother, Richard Clayton Reeves and wife Dana; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judy and Bill Webb; brothers-in-law, Kevin Aultman and wife Becky and Todd Aultman and wife Stacy; sister-in-law, Tracie Owens and husband Dennis; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; grand puppy, Rocky; and his golden retriever and best friend, Rusty.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Aultman, Todd Aultman, David Hampton, Bill Simpson, Kyle Hill, Brent McDonald, Jay Sims, and Frankie Grimes. Honorary pallbearers will be Cole Norris, Ryan Hill, Kevin Rinehart, Chris Nunnelee, and Marty Reese.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday and from 1:00 PM Monday until service time at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or a charity of one’s choice.
