Michael Anthony "Mike" Kosik

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Michael Anthony “Mike” Kosik, 64, of West Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with Fr. Mike Thang’wa officiating.

Mike was born April 21, 1958 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 3, 2022. He worked for Monroe Rubber and Gasket for 42 years retiring in 2021. Mike enjoyed working in the yard, going to the lake and Aqualand, going to the beach every summer, watching LSU and New Orleans Saints football; but most of all spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was a fourth degree “Sir Knight.”

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Cora Simms Kosik; sister, Kathy Kosik; and brothers-in-law, Doug Neely and Freddy Revels.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Debbie Kosik; three children, Jason Kosik, Nicole Kosik Koserog (Charlie), Mary Beth Kosik and fiancé, Jackson Hofmeister; four grandsons, Tripp Koserog, Everett Koserog, Kayce Koserog, and Krewe Hofmeister; brother, Kenneth “Ken” Lee Kosik (Connie), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and many special friends.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Kosik, Steven Ingram, Robert Marsala, Kyle Miller, Peter Guerriero, and Dustin Jenkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be member of the Knights of Columbus and employees of Monroe Rubber and Gasket.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe. Rosary at 6:30 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
