Funeral services for Meredith “Meg” Ann Stewart Page, 82, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday April 29, 2016 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn Malone and Rev. J. Roddy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, prior to the service.Mrs. Page died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Assisted Living Facility. She was a 1951 graduate of Neville High School where she was a Majorette. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church and the Anna Gray Noe Sunday School class. Meg was a board member of the Twin City Ballet Co., serving as publicity chairman and secretary. She was also an avid supporter of Linda Lavender School of Dance recitals. Meg especially loved watching her son and grandson play baseball. Meg retired from KNOE TV as a receptionist, after 41 years of service. She was the first beautiful, smiling face you saw when you entered KNOE, where she made numerous lifelong friends. Mrs. Page was preceded in death by her husband, of 64 years, Charles Edwin Page; her parents, F.W. and Rubye Stewart: and sister, Carolyn Stewart.Survivors include her sons, Charles Danny Page and Noel Bentley Page; daughter, Michelle Page Harvey, husband Bill; grandchildren, Matthew Harvey, wife Audrey; Alexa and Ashtyn Page; sister, Dianne Smeltzer, husband Jimmie.Pallbearers will be Jay Smeltzer, Hunter Smeltzer, Jimmie Smeltzer, John Hopper, Wilson Rambo, and Garrett Edens.
