Melody Esta Goudeau

Funeral service for Mrs. Melody Esta Goudeau, 52, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 21, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Brother Lonnie Scarbrough officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe.
Mrs. Goudeau was born on February 17, 1969, in Ouachita Parish, LA, and passed away on October 17, 2021, in Jackson, MS. She worked for CenturyLink for 27 years and was now working for IBM as a software tester. Mrs. Goudeau loved her children and enjoyed spending time with her family, but especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, John Goudeau; children, Jennifer Sisson, Josh Goudeau, Jacob Goudeau and fiancé Kaitlyn Formhals, and J. J. Goudeau and wife Laura; mother, Nora Esta; siblings, Joan McNeely, Timothy Midyett, Kelly Smith, Kristi Esta, and Joey Esta; and grandchildren, Joseph Porter, Jolene Davis, Gabriella Deslatte, Scarlett Goudeau, and Sawyer Goudeau.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Goudeau, Josh Goudeau, J. J. Goudeau, Timothy Midyett, Joey Esta, and Charlie Allen.
