Melanie Faith Wheelis

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Melanie Faith Wheelis, 60, of Eros, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 30, 2019, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Charles E. Harvey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Chatham Cemetery in Chatham, LA.

Faith was born on September 13, 1958 and passed away at her residence on March 28, 2019. She was a member of Ridge Avenue Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Harvey and Willie Spillers and Ivy and Effie Wheelis; and by her nephew, Colin Stewart Herbet.

Survivors include her parents, Bobby Ray and Sylvia Faye Wheelis; her partner, Linda Lynde; sister, Paula Wheelis-Herbet; brother, Blake Wheelis and wife, Jodi; nephew, Wesley Wheelis and wife, Danielle; nieces, Dr. Caitlin Bell and husband, Jake, and Whitney Frick and husband, Ryan; and her beloved dog, GiGi.

Pallbearers will be Chris Love, Jake Bell, Ronnie Huckaby, Jr., Randy Wheelis, Ron Lawson, and Robert Bennett.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. until Service Time on Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
