Maybelle Hodge

Funeral Services for Ms. Maybelle Hodge, 83, of Rocky Branch, LA, will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, October 6, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Sister Melba Shavers officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.

Ms. Hodge was born June 20, 1935, to Joe Lee and Ada Aaron and passed away October 4, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Rocky Branch, LA. She loved to cook, clean and to sing. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Lee and Ada Bowles Aaron; and brothers, Marvin Aaron, Doyle Aaron, Andy Aaron, Audrey Aaron, Billy Joe Aaron, J.L. Aaron, Everette Aaron; and sister, Rita Farmer.

Survivors include her children, Debra Kay Burns and husband Bruce, Cathy Sue Hodge and husband Jerry Gilley, Dennis Hodge, Wendell Hodge and wife Lynette, and Tammy Renee Knowles and husband Scotty; grandchildren, Joseph, Ricky, Jessica, Cassidy, Morgan, Brandon, and Chad; great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Allyson Kate, Camryn, Carolyne, Natalie, Lillie, Marly, Royce, Gavin and Rylan; brother, Jack Thomas Aaron; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Clay Bowen, Chad Knowles, Joseph Byrnes, Cassidy Hodge, Rusty Hodge and Barry Aaron.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Ms. Hodge’s family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Landmark Nursing Home and Heart of Hospice for the love and care shown to their mother.
