Per Covid-19 Restrictions and Social Distancing Guidelines, Private Family Graveside Services will be held for Mrs. Mary V. McDonald, 93, of West Monroe, LA on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the St. Paschal Catholic Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA with Fr. Frank Coens officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Vivian was born on March 20, 1927 to the parents of Willie Joseph and Eunice Robin Soignier, and passed away on November 27, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy McDonald; son, Kemmy McDonald; and her brother, Buck Soignier
Survivors include her children, Randall McDonald and wife, Shirley; Ramona Aikens and husband, Bill; Rebecca Griffin and husband, Paul; daughter-in-law, Vicky McDonald; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Kennedy; brothers, Joe Soignier and wife, Joyce and Butch Soignier; along with a large number of extended family and friends.
Our Mother was a hard worker with a kind soul. We have never heard anyone say a bad word about her. She taught us to be kind to everyone and to each other, and there is no one that can make beignets or biscuits form scratch like she could. God blessed us with such an Angel for a mom. Thank you God for sharing her with us. She believed in the power of prayer and the Lord!!
