Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary Theresa Jordan, 64, of Monroe, LA will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday October 21, 2015 at the New Life Community Church in Monroe, LA with Rev. Bob Clanton officiating, with Cremation following the services.Mary died October 17, 2015 at St. Francis North Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Schaefer, Sister and Brother-in-law, Martha and Robert Elliott and her brothers, Louis and Martin Schaefer.Mary was a member of the New Life Community Church in Monroe, LA. She was a retired machine operator with General Motors. She volunteered many hours to Grace Place. She enjoyed sports playing softball until age 55, golf, and always being there to watch her grandchildren’s ballgames and dance recitals. Mary was an artist and enjoyed painting and traveling with her brothers and sisters after her retirement.Survivors: Sons, Bradley W. Hooter and fianc, Amy Harger and Brandon Wade Hooter and his wife, Korey Aline; grandchildren, Tyler Wayne Thomas Hooter, Bryce Wade Hooter and wife, Brynna Kay, Savannah Marie Nicole Hooter, Taylor Ja’Nae Hooter, Bradon Wade Hooter, Brooklyn and Dalton Harger; Brothers, William Schaefer and wife, Robin, Charles Schaefer and wife, Helene, Robert Schaefer, and Bradley Schaefer; and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Tyler, Bryce and Bradon Hooter, Steven Crump, Bill, Robert, Charlie and Brad Schaefer.Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at New Life Community Church 7616 165 North Monroe, LA.
