Mary Marie Tolbird

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Marie Tolbird, 99, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 30, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Jerry Salisbury officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in West Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday.

Mary Marie Tolbird was born July 27, 1923 and passed away August 27, 2022. She was a member of Walnut Grove Southern Methodist Church. She loved hunting and fishing, which she continued to do well into her 90’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Tolbird; her mother, Mecie Bamburg Frost; her father, John Lawson Frost; sisters, Addie Mae Head, Gertie Thomas, Helen Sharbono, and Dot Frost; and brothers, Otto Frost, Ellis Frost, and Alfred Frost.

Survivors include her children, Doyle Tolbird, Patsy Harris, and Larry Tolbird and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Rhonda Luther and husband Jeremy, Teresa Koch and husband Steve, Jamie Tolbird, Amy Tolbird Armstrong and husband James, Blake Tolbird, and Todd Tolbird; six great grandchildren; sister, Polly Bryan; brothers, Carl Frost and Dean Frost; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Todd Tolbird, Blake Tolbird, Jamie Tolbird, Taylor Caldwell, Scott Thomas, and Earl Frost.
