Mary Lynn Lenard

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mary Lynn Howard Lenard, 55, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Redeemed at Calvary Church West Olive St. in West Monroe, LA with Bishop Benny Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Church Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Redeemed at Calvary Church.

Mary was born on May 4, 1969, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 20, 2024.

Mary loved spending time outdoors with her family. She loved to have all the grandchildren (who called her May May) come to her swimming pool for fun activities. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Mary was the best friend anyone could have. She had people all over with her visits to hospitals, nursing facilities, and church functions that looked forward to seeing her smiling face and contagious joy. She and her husband ministered to thousands of families and brought many folks to the Lord. 

Survivors: her husband of 17 years who has and will always be the love of her life, Glenn Lenard; sons, Jeremy Lenard (Sarah), Timothy Nowlin (Caty), and Matthew Lenard; daughter, Candita “Candy” Knighten (Shannon); grandchildren, Jenna Kay, Josh, Andrew, Morgan, Kennedi, Taylor, Christian, Jeremy, Cydni, Oliver, Hazleigh, Wesley, Raegyn, Arianna, Aubrey, Cam, Elijah, Channing, Ally, Vierre, Kris, Payton, Jackson, Savanah, Ellie, Bexlee, and Maggie; great granddaughter, Mayvery; siblings, Dennis Howard (Stephanie), Tamika Massey, Matt Howard, Belinda Wallace (Earnie), and Doyle Howard (Rachel); sisters-in-law, Jean Wilson (Sammy) and Lynn Leehy; best friend and Baldwin sister, Allyson Jaynes, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and church family.

Pallbearers will be Cody Ibanez, Michael Leehy, Christian Worsham, Frank Burke, Doug Collins, Shannon Knighten, and Jeremy Lenard.
