Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary E. McCarty, 85, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 26, 2014 at St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Frank Coens officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paschal Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.Mrs. McCarty was born on January 29, 1929 in Holy Cross, AK and passed away on December 24, 2014 at her residence in West Monroe, LA. She loved taking care of her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Lucy Whitley; by her son, Kenneth McCarty; grandson, Jimmy Dale Redden, Jr. and by her siblings, Evelyn Snow, Tassie Belt and Walter Whitley.Survivors include her husband, Gene McCarty; daughters, Linda Kelly, Jeannie Hickman and husband, Charlie, and Lucy Lowery;eight grandchildren, Lisa Duhon, Julie McCarty, Roy Kelly, Daniel Verrett, Ola Verrett, Chris Hickman, Mark Verrett, and Elizabeth Terrebonne; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Ann Curtis; along with numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Chris Hickman, Daniel Verrett, Randy McCarty, Jack McCarty, Chris Kerr, Roy Kelly, Thomas Griggs and Curtis Terrebonne.Memorials may be made to the St. Paschal Catholic Church.Online Registry/ Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com
