Private Memorial Services for Mr. Marvin L. King, 79, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at a later date.
Mr. King was born September 17. 1942 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 1, 2022. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard. Mr. King enjoyed fishing, gardening, coin collecting, exercising, and running. He was a member of the Rotary International. Mr. King owned and operated Marvin King Electrical Supply Company from 1986-2005. His pride and joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Emma King and Louie P. King; and sister, Norma Baird.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Annette W. King; three children, Cheryl A. King, Mary King Bray (Charles), and Brenda King Cascio (Pete); four grandchildren, Scotty Pace, Sara Bray Smith (Cody), Austin Winn, and Charlie Bray; three great-grandchildren, Sawyer Smith, Waylon Smith, and Brennon Pace; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
