Graveside service for Mr. Martin Wayne Russell, 76, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Liberty Cemetery in Union Parish under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe.
Mr. Russell was born on October 20, 1944, in Monroe and passed away on April 19, 2021, in Monroe. He worked for Choice Brands for 37 years and later worked at Brookshires until he retired. Mr. Russell loved to hunt, fish and spending time in his workshop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clete and Effie Russell; daughter, Charlotte Russell Cole; uncle, Burton Russell; and two aunts, Yvonne Russell and Nellie Russell.
Survivors include his wife of 41years, Judy Gipson Russell; son, Douglas Russell; sister, Cindy Russell; uncle, W. C. Russell; and numerous cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Association.
