A special thanks to Avalon Nursing Home of Monroe, LA. The owners and staff took excellent care of Mama and treated her with much affection and dignity during her stay there. Thanks to the employees of St. Francis Medical Center and St. Francis Specialty Hospital who were wonderful to Mama in her last days.
Our mother was a special person on this earth who brought words of faith and love to everyone with whom she came in contact over all the days of her life. She did this through her life, her music and her poetry (sometimes with humor), but always with a deep love of God and her loved ones. Mama had an unwavering faith in Jesus and knew that one day she would sit at the right hand of God along with her loved ones for eternity. She would want you to be there too. We loved her so much!
