Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Godfrey McLemore, 93, of Monroe, LA, formerly of Winnsboro, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 4, 2009, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA. Rev. Cage McLemore and Rev. Heath Kahlbau will officiate. Interment will follow in Old Winnsboro Cemetery.

Mrs. McLemore passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009. She was a native of Winnsboro, LA, and a graduate of Moody Bible Institute. Mrs. McLemore spent her life in Christian Education at Whittier, CA, and Temple Baptist Church Preschool in Winnsboro, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McLemore.

Survivors include her nieces, Ellen Bowen, Gay Swindell, Dot Hoben, Ann Erskine, Kay Ellender, and Janice Kay; nephews, Charles King, Clifford King, Jarrell Godfrey, Tommy Godfrey, Jimmy Godfrey, and Billy Bennett; and numerous great and grand nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jim Swindell, Benjamin Bowen, David Swindell, Ryan Swindell, David Peterson, and Jay Godfrey.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, and Wednesday, from 10:00 AM until service time at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.

Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church Preschool in Winnsboro, LA, or to First Baptist Church in Monroe, LA.
