Marjorie Carolyn Heller

August 6, 1942 — January 15, 2022

Mrs. Marjorie Carolyn Heller was born in Monroe, LA, on August 6, 1942, to Jessie and Carolyn Gilstrap. She was the beloved wife of Fred Heller for 52 years.
Margie is survived by her children, Eric Heller (Heather), Cherie Rayner (Mark), Stephanie Jones (Rodger), and Andi Holyfield (Chris); brothers, Carl Sonny Gilstrap (Jean), and Jim Gilstrap (Cathy); grandchildren, Oliva, Sophia, and Julia Heller, Lydia and Drew Jones, Marissa Heller, Savannah, Christopher, and Alissa Holyfield; great grandson, Sam Holyfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margie was raised by a loving family and enjoyed adventures on the bayou, water skiing, boating, horseback riding, and friends. She attended Ouachita High School and NLU, where she became an accomplished artist.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2510 Emerson St. Monroe, LA, with Rev. Mike Thanwg Wa officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eric Heller, Chris Holyfield, Christopher Holyfield, and Brad Gilstrap.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
