Marie W. Kirk

Funeral services for Marie W. Kirk, 88, of Monroe, LA, formerly of El Dorado, AR, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Parkview Baptist Church with Rev. Erby Burgess and Rev. Lanny Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado, AR at 3:00 PM.

Mrs. Kirk passed away Friday, August 24, 2012, in West Monroe. She was a faithful member of Parkview Baptist Church and formerly a devoted member of Second Baptist Church of El Dorado, AR.  She retired as Head Teller from the National Bank of Commerce in El Dorado, AR.  She loved her family and friends and was a prayer warrior.

Mrs. Kirk was preceded in death by her father John H. Williams; her mother Minnie Mae Miller Williams; her infant brother, David Williams; and her husband Neil R. Kirk.

Survivors include daughter Elizabeth Kirk Fulton and husband Lee of Monroe; son, David W. Kirk of San Antonio, TX; sisters Geraldine Crook of El Dorado, AR and Hazel Hayes of Conway, AR; granddaughters, Tara Mercer and husband John of Riverton, WY, Karen Howington and husband Dwain of West Monroe, LA, Kimberly Kirk, and Deborah Kirk; great-grandchildren, Caroline Howington, Connor Howington, Jessie Mercer, Jack Mercer, Olivia Mercer, William Mercer, Lacey Kirk, and Coleton Gorecke; great-great-granddaughters Emma Kirk and Lyla Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
