Marie Riley Sipes

On November 22, 2016, Marie Riley Sipes peacefully passed away; beloved wife of Kris Sipes; devoted mother of Landry Hope Sipes; adored daughter of Patrick and Judy Riley; dear sister of Kelly Riley, Patrick Riley Jr. and wife Jennifer, John Riley and wife Mandy, Holly Riley Battaglia and husband Chris, and Sean Riley and wife Lori ; cherished aunt of Brandon Riley, Nicholas Riley, Emily Riley, Riley Battaglia, Alex Battaglia, Amelia Battaglia, Grace Battaglia, Ashlyn Riley and Addyson Riley; survived by Derrell Sipes, Jan Westmoreland-Sipes, Susan Sipes, Kenny Baker, Heath and Jessa Stewart, James and Roddey Sutton, Maxcy Westmoreland, Kent and Laura Baker, and Randall and Michelle Vickroy; also survived by many loving family members and friends. Marie was a shining light for all who came in contact with her. Her reach was so extensive, that the family will celebrate her life in both Fort Mill, SC and Monroe, LA so that family and friends can pay their respects.

The family will receive friends at the residence of her parents Pat and Judy on Thursday evening December 1, 2016, to share special memories of Marie.

Funeral mass celebrating the life of Marie Riley Sipes will be held at 11:00 AM Friday December 2, 2016 at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Monroe, La. with Rev. Mark Watson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.
