Funeral Services for Marie Giger, 82, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00AM Monday, October 7, 2019 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Dr. Bob Holloway officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, West Monroe.

Marie was born on February 8, 1937 in Newton County, MS and passed away on October 4, 2019 in West Monroe, LA. Marie loved to sew and to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Watson Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Giger; parents, Angrish and Susie Wheeler; and sister, Pearl Martin.

Marie is survived by her son, Gene Giger and wife Jan; grandchildren, Brian Giger, Amanda Wooten and husband Shane, Bradley Giger and wife Brittany, Kristy Moore and husband Ron, Derek Trichell and wife Jamie; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Dale Finch, Edna Martin, and Sue Binford; brother, Gene Wheeler; and numerous other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Giger, Shane Wooten, Destin Green, Casey Stevens, Derek Trichell, and Ron Moore.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
