Throughout her entire life, Yvette drew strength and inspiration from her faith. Despite facing numerous challenges in her life, Yvette remained positive and optimistic. She always looked on the bright side and had a smile on her face. “Nonnie” had a passion for helping, serving, and giving to those around her. She was a true example of selflessness.
Yvette was a member of First Baptist church of West Monroe, LA, serving in the Church and choir for over 50 years. She was a faithful worker at Century Link for 50 years and loved all her coworkers. Her loyalty overflowed into her friendships through her hospitality and cooking for others.
While we will miss Nonnie dearly, we take comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through countless lives she touched and how she put family above all else. Her unwavering faith, her belief in the power of positivity, boundless love, and her dedication to giving back to others will always be remembered.
