Marie Comrato

Funeral services celebrating the life of Miss Marie (Aunt Bo) Comrato, 101, of Monroe, LA will be held at 1:30 P.M. August 21, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe, LA with Rev. Paul Thunduparampil officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Catholic Church Cemetery.
Miss Comrato died August 17, 2021, at St. Francis Medical Center after a brief illness.
Marie was a charter member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroe, LA where she served many years as a member of the Altar Society and the Choir. She graduated from Neville High School. She retired as an insurance clerk with St. Francis Medical Center after 24 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Comrato; siblings, Louis Comrato, Phillip Comrato, Annie Graham, Josephine Comrato, Lottie Anzalone, Frances Fisher, JoAnna Comrato; niece, Mary Margaret Dorris; and nephew, Chip Dorris.
Survivors: Sister, Miss Virginia Elizabeth Comrato; Niece, Margaret Anzalone; Great Nieces, Gail Boyd, Kathy Stewart, Lisa Wassack, Donna Ferlicca and Laura Anazalone; numerous great nieces and nephews
Visitation will be from Noon until service time at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be James Ramsey, Garrett Luneau, Lanny Stewart, Mark Norris, Nash Norris, Paul Burke, Ronnie Boyd, and Bob Wilson.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
