Polly Frith Howard was born in Monroe, LA on July 22, 1947, to Milon and Earnestine Burnett Frith and passed away after a brief illness on December 20, 2021, at her home with all of the love her family could give her. Polly was an original. She had a big heart and a rare love for people. Her kitchen table was her happy place. That is where she enjoyed starting and ending her days. Family and friends were always welcome at this table. She offered coffee, family dinners, and lots of conversation, but mostly she shared the unforgettable cat head biscuits. Polly loved to make ceramics and she was an avid book reader. She loved watching Jimmy Swaggart. She also loved to drink her coffee and smoke her cigarettes. She was a member of Redeemed at Calvary Church, where she recently got saved and gave her heart to the Lord.
Waiting in Heaven for Polly are her husband, Jimmie Howard; her beautiful granddaughter, Amber Norwood; and grandson, William Dennis Buchanan.
Survivors include her children, Matthew Howard, Dennis Howard and wife Stephanie, Tamika Massey and fiancé Matt, Mary Lenard and husband Glenn, Belinda Wallace and husband Ernie, and Doyle Howard and wife Rachel; two adopted children, Jessica Hall and William Hall; sisters, Jeanette Martin and Millie Bidleman; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Redeemed at Calvary Church Building Fund.
