Marcella Wilson Tatum

Funeral services for Marcella Tatum, 96, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Dr. Tim Neustifter officiating. A private family interment will be held at Holder Cemetery.

Mrs. Tatum died Monday, December 5, 2016. She was a retired minister’s wife, homemaker, teacher and artist. Mrs. Tatum was a graduate of SMU.

Mrs. Tatum was preceded in death by her husband, Eskel Leonard Tatum; and parents, Elmer Edward and Cora Withers Wilson; brother, Robert Edward Wilson and wife Mary; and daughter, Martha Evelyn Tatum Jordan.

Survivors include her son, William “Bill” Tatum and wife Jill of Ruston; daughter, Sandra Joyce Tatum Howard and husband John of Jennings; and son-in-law, H. Glenn Jordan; grandchildren, Sharon Jordan Fuller and husband Jimmy, Troy Jordan and wife Karla, Karen Tatum Davidson and husband Kirk, Mary Tatum Houston and husband Mike, Angie Howard Shoalts and husband Jonathan, Mike Howard and wife Diana; great grandchildren, Rebekah Fuller, Colin Davidson, Ian Davidson, Zane Houston, Gabe Houston, Emma Houston, Jakob Brown, Chayton Jordan, Chase Shoalts, Clayton Shoalts, Tatum Shoalts, Arturo Rasadez, Noah Howard, Kristi Davidson Eharbt, Gulligan Davidson; and great great-grandchildren, Kiley Eharbt, Jenna Eharbt, Madison Atwell, Mason Atwell, Makayla Davidson.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
