Funeral services for
Malvin Bruce Lindsey, 89 of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday
December 23, 2013 in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in
Monroe. Interment will be in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Bill
Foster officiating.


 


Mr. Lindsey was born on
October 13, 1924 in Coushatta, LA, and passed away on December 22, 2013 in West
Monroe, LA.  Mr. Lindsey was a member of
the Claiborne Methodist Church and was a former member of the Lea Joyner United
Methodist Church where he was a lay minister. Mr. Lindsey is preceded in death
by his wife Ila V. Lindsey


 


Survivors include his
daughters, Suzette Brewster and husband Tom, who was Mr. Lindsey loyal
companion, Mona McCune and husband Charles; brother, Tom Lindsey;
granddaughters, Tiffany Carroll, and Amanda and her husband Jared Ramsey; great
grandchildren, Cole and Megan Carroll, Noah, and Keaton Brewster; sisters in
law Grace Lindsey and Alline Weems; and many loved nieces and nephews.


 


Visitation will be from
1:00 P.M. until service time at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in
Monroe, LA.


 


Memorials may be made to
St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Claiborne United Methodist Church.
