Mae McDonald Ouchley

Funeral services for Mae Merlyn McDonald Ouchley of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 13, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with The Reverend T. Whitfield Stodghill, III officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery in Rocky Branch, LA. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Mae was born November 13, 1931, in Foxworth, Mississippi and passed away January 10, 2018, in West Monroe, LA at the age of 86. She spent much of her life traveling with her husband who was in the pipeline business before settling in West Monroe to raise her four children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kimble Dallas Ouchley, her parents, Frank P. McDonald and Jessie Varnado McDonald Lambert, and sister, Llewellyn Terrell.

Mae is survived by her children, Kelby Ouchley and wife Amy, Karen Nichols and husband Johnny, Kim Marie Tolson, Keith Ouchley and wife Susan; her grandchildren, Jeremy Ouchley and wife Julie, Zachary Ouchley, Jennifer Pesnell and husband Derek, Meghan Nichols and Chase Barrett, Kyle Tolson and wife Marcia, along with great grandchildren Hudson Ouchley, Guiliana and Tres Leija; sister, Billie Fillingame, brother Johnny McDonald and wife Alliene; plus nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and Derek Pesnell, Jimmy Griffin, and Mike Wilbanks.

The family would like to especially thank caregiver Katherine Thomas, and the staff at The Cottage and LA Hospice.
