Memorial services for Madonna Accardo Escobar, 59, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Escobar, a homemaker, was born September 17, 1958, in Monroe, and passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was a loving friend and would do anything for anyone. Mrs. Escobar was a glamorous Queen with a heart of gold. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Mrs. Escobar was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Phillip Accardo, Sr. and Agnes Irene Weed Accardo; and brother, William Paul Accardo.
Survivors include her husband, Arturo Escobar; sons, Jesse Garcia and wife Aubrey, Eddie Rutherford, and Phillip Rowell; 2 grandchildren, Chloe and Vincent Garcia; sister, Kelly Lyn Accardo; brothers, Sidney Phillip Accardo, Jr. and Joey David Accardo; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and countless cousins and friends that loved her deeply.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Leonard and Phillip Gonzales.
