Mable Hinton Ray

Funeral Services for Mable Hinton Ray, 88, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Dr. Clarice Fluitt officiating. Interment will follow at Bosco Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

Mrs. Mable was born September 22, 1934, in Monroe, LA, and passed away August 18, 2023, at her residence in West Monroe, LA.

Mable had a passion for sewing. She also thoroughly enjoyed attending her prayer group. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm V. Ray; parents, Henry and Mary Hinton; siblings, Bernice Fitzhugh, Marie Miller, and Arthur L. Hinton.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Ray Carroll, Randy M. Ray and wife, Tammy, Kerry M. Ray and wife, Kathy, Christa Ray Medaries and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Mandy Carroll Herrington and husband, Mike, Lee Carroll and wife, Claire, Matthew L. Ray and wife, Leah, Kolby A. Ray and wife, Taylor, Kiley K. Ray, and Christian M. Medaries and wife, Paige; great grandchildren, Malcolm Gilbert, Henry Gilbert, Hinton Carroll, Arlee Carroll, Mattox Ray, and Nathan Ray; as well as numerous other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Lee Carroll, Matthew Ray, Kolby Ray, Christian Medaries, Malcolm Gilbert, and Scott Dickson.
