Memorial Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. M. Anthony “Tony” Hope, 62, of Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 4, 2021, at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church with The Rev. T. Whitfield Stodghill, III officiating.
Tony was born August 16, 1958 and passed away on August 5, 2021. He was a retired field engineer for Entergen/PGP Operating, Tuscaloosa/Vance, Alabama. Tony was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend. In truth, Tony was a brother to all. His love was sincere. He hated evil and held to what is good. Tony would always do the right thing for others throughout his life. He encouraged, supported, and offered forgiveness to all. Tony was an avid Alabama football fan. He enjoyed fishing and above all he loved his two dogs, Teddy and Dixie, who he referred to as his little buddies.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas H. Hope, Jr.
Survivors include his mother, Janice Dedman Hope; brother, Chuck Hope and wife Rosie; sister, Kimberly Hope Barker and husband Raymond; brother, John Hope and wife Sarah; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
