Memorial Services celebrating the life of Lydia Susan McWhorter, 70, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:45AM Saturday, October 16, 2021, at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, West Monroe.
Lydia Susan was born on November 16, 1950, in Greenville, MS, and passed away on October 12, 2021, in West Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Billie B. McWhorter and Lydia E. Carter McWhorter.
Survivors include her son, David Edward McBride of Jacksonville, FL; brother, W.D. “Buck” McWhorter and wife Vickie; niece, Stefanie Rawls and husband Jeremy; nephew, Chris McWhorter and wife Erin; and her faithful companion, “Mom Cat”.
Memorials may be made to St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church or to the River City Humane Society.
Per Lydia Susan’s request, face masks will be required at her memorial service.
