Funeral services for Mr. Luther Milton Hale, 79, of Monroe, will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 19, 2008, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Rev. James Tate officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery.
Mr. Hale passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was the owner of H & H Electric. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing for white perch. Mr. Hale was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Ross Hale; sons, Richard and Phillip Hale; mother, Josie Lee Parker; and mother-in-law, Gladys Ross.
Survivors include his children, Mike Hale and wife Johnnie, Vernon Hale and wife Dinah, Cheryl Christy and fiancé Tommy Kinard, and Lynette Chandler and husband Jimmie; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
