Lucy Mae Walker McDonald

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lucy Mae Walker McDonald, 83, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 5, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Bentley Curry officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Wednesday.

Mrs. McDonald was born October 5, 1936, in Oak Grove, LA and passed away January 31, 2020, in Calhoun, LA. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and a longtime member of Crew Lake United Methodist Church. Mrs. McDonald was a devout Christian and gospel singer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne J. McDonald, Jr.; and one brother and one sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Bennett; son, Michael McDonald; two grandchildren, Renea Tarver and Brian Pickron; four great grandchildren, Veronica Tarver, Natalie Tarver, Brylan Pickron, and Johnna Pickron; two sisters, Edwina Martin and Ruth Saxon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Crain, Matthew Martin, David Mora, Adam Lewis, Austin Parks and Zac Wiggins.
