Lucille Mary Brossett Henson

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Mary Brossett Henson, 93, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Fr. Mike Thang’wa officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until time of service.

Mrs. Henson was born June 25, 1929, in Natchitoches, LA and passed away July 10, 2022, in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, a charter member of VFW Auxillary, and Ladies of the Mooselodge. She loved glasswear, antiquing and had booths in Arcadia and on Trenton St. in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Henson is preceded in death by her husband, Willie “Bill” Henson; brothers, A.C. Brossett, J.E. Brossett, Felix Brossett, David Brossett, J.B. Brossett; sister, Ida Hernandez; and grandson, Anthony Merrell.

Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Henson Smith, Meg Henson Garsee (Steve); sons, Richard D. Henson (Melissa), William D. Henson (Merrell), Thomas J. Henson, and John D. Henson; one sister, Elizabeth Britt; grandchildren, Chuck Henson, Kim Henson Trichell, Lance Ledet, Sr., Lee Ledet, Jessica Henson, Jade Henson, Mitch Garsee, Krista Garsee, Matthew Henson, and Trevor Henson; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lee Ledet, Matthew Henson, Trevor Henson, Danny Trichell, David Trichell, and Mark Stevenson.
