He was a member of Rayville United Methodist Church.He was a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel.He is preceded in death by his parents-Wesley David Taylor and Birtie Polk Taylor.He is survived by sons-Robert W. Taylor, Jr of Shreveport and Mark Taylor of Rayville; a daughter-Valerie Taylor of Lexington, KY; five grandchildren-Rhyan Taylor, Zachery Taylor, Hannah Grey O’Conner, Mathew Mandina, and Madeline Mandina; two great grandchildren-Aidan Taylor and Arden Cait O’Conner; one sister-Sally Ann Roach of West Monroe, LA; and a host of other family and friends.Pallbearers will be Mike Smith, Bill Jennings, Ricky Mulhern, Branden Mulhern, David Roach, and Carlton Clark.
