Funeral service for Mr. Loyd Ross Landrum, 78, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe, with Rev. Jerry Guillory officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Cadeville, LA.Loyd Ross Landrum passed to the big Rodeo in the sky on December 20, 2015. He was married to Sandra Elaine Golsby for 43years, who preceded him in death in 2009. He was born to the union of John Bailey and Muriel Renshaw Landrum on October 6, 1937. His brothers Bill, John, and J.B. Landrum and his sister, Betty McManus preceded him in death. His younger brother Michael and sister Joy Landrum Solley are his survivors. He and Elaine lived on a farm for 43 years in Calhoun. He was a rodeo clown and bull rider in the 50’s and always looked the part of a cowboy in his overalls and boots. He painted with his father for many years and everyone remembers his smile. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes.
