Funeral services for Louise posey Hernandez, 86, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00PM Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. with Rev. Warren Eckhart officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:00PM until time of service.

Mrs. Hernandez was born on January 29, 1936, in Holly Ridge, LA and passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at her residence.
Mrs. Hernandez worked for St. Francis medical Center as a scrub technician and retired from The Surgical Center in Monroe, LA. She loved spending time with her family and with her beloved cat, Bubba.

Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hernandez; brothers, Houston Posey, Clyde Posey, and Eddie Posey; her mother and father, Earl, and Mary Posey.

Survivors include; daughters, Linda Wiley, Donna Wilson (John); sons, Kenny Hernandez (Debbie), Keith Hernandez (Ann); ; granddaughters, Michelle Smith (Vince), Mandy Purdy (Robert), Kim Hernandez, LeAnn Albritton, Ashley Bennett, Jessica Hernandez; grandson, Jarred Hernandez. Fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Very close and special friends, Dr. Larry Barr, Dr. Frank Rizzo Sr., and Dr. Luis Yumet.

Pallbearers will be Brad Smith, Taylen Jarrell, Drake Purdy, Gage Purdy, Mason Hernandez, and Jarred Hernandez.
